    Re: Beko WMA520S pressure switch

It’s a digital device and blowing up it is one way of damaging it.

Re: fabric conditioner not being taken in Bosch Classixx6

Look up into the roof of the compartment and you will more than likely see that it is clogged up with black grunge. there is a very small window shaped hole in the centre above the fabric conditioner compartment, that is where the water comes in to flush the conditioner into the machine. TBH the only way to properly clean this compartment is to remove it from the machine and clean it in the sink.

There is just one motor with a fan at either end. If the stats had failed you should get an error message . If you have access to a decent multimeter or megger you could check the TOC behind the back cover, some models route the main neutral supply through that stat.

Might be best to let them fix it, if you can hear the click low down on the right hand side then that is where the main power pcb is located. 🙁 Most other faults should throw up an error code.

Motor brushes or poor motor plug connections always the first place to look with that fault.

You may not want to bother, harness is listed as part of a major modification/update at around £97.00 :eeek:

Re: Hotpoint New Edition -flashing lights part way through c

Did you remove the large black sump hose completely, the filter cage sits inside that. The pressure chamber is also part of that assembly, it has a thin tube attached to the top, this can also get clogged up with gunge.

One flash is a motor/circuit board fault so strong chance it needs an expensive repair anyway.

The control knob will click round one full revolution back to its original setting unless you reset it on one of the dots. If it is in error mode it will keep rotating round and round whilst steadily flashing the mains light, this is when you should count the flashes. It will repeat the flashing sequence several times with an obvious pause in between.

PS. A huge amount of the landfill total is made up of Indest based products. :rolls:

When the dial starts to click round the flashes are usually very easy to count, it will also repeat a few times which would confirm ten flashes.
To be brutally honest these machines are not the best and to get seven years out of it is better than most people manage.

If your machine is going to get a lot more use then it may be time to invest in a new machine. 😉

If it does do ten flashes that is supposed to signify a pressure switch fault, could be pressure switch, blocked pump or outlet pipe etc.
