    Re: Belling oven parts?

Ah, that’s more like it, you didn’t mention the 9590 in your first post, just 44444 which threw me a little.

    All clear now:)

    Ta…Jim.

    Re: Belling oven parts?

    Hmmm,
There are several models that begin 44444 but with four different numbers afterwards.

Two different ones listed in the STORE for various combinations of 44444**** , apart from the one I linked to there is also THIS one listed for some varients.

A bit suspicious of Connect showing just one for all 44444**** models when we list two that are different from the number you gave????

    Jim.

    It is THIS one.

F10? Surely your machine does not have a digital display to show F10. ❓
For it to be a heater related fault it should have the Start/Pause and Drying lights flashing.

Just had a root around and I have found one for you.

PM me your address and I will get it to you. It was in a box with about 20 other modules some much older that will sadly be going to the tip in the next couple of months when I finally hang up my screwdriver. 🙁

You should not put anything at all on the new heater when refitting.

Lubricants only needed if trying to refit on old element.

Also worth noting that two different function switches where used on this model, with different wiring connections as well so you may have the wrong part. 🙁

Re: Hotpoint WMAL 641 – is the heater working?

Element change is fairly easy, getting the old one out is the tricky/fiddly bit. Just need to slacken off the retaining nut and prise it out, refitting a new one is no problem.

Correct part number is C00279904, just had a look and can’t see it in the STORE here but if you drop an email to spares@ukwhitewgoods.co.uk I’m sure they will source one ASAP.

Of course the correct thing to do is to test the heater for resistance/continuity with a suitable meter first. 😉

You could add that after Brexit we could go back to using a decent motor in all vacs once more.;)

Only just got in from Old Trafford, a bit dark in the garage just now will have a look ASAP.
What is the model number of the machine?

What is wrong with the one you have, apart from the solder contacts breaking away under that connector plug these gave very few problems. A bit of work with the soldering iron on the underside of the plug usually sorted them.

The 30mm and 35m bearing machines have different outer drum and drum spiders as well as bearings.

Not sure where you got that from but the procedure I have posted is direct from the service manual and is not the same. 😉

Re: Indesit IDF 125 freestanding dishwasher.

    ‘Error code procedure’ ?????

    Do you mean test programme?

    To enter Test Mode
Start with the appliance off and the dishwasher door closed – with Mains power supply ON.
    1. Switch the dishwasher “on”, (On/Off button).
    2. Switch the dishwasher “off”, (On/Off button).
    3. Press the Start button and hold for 3 seconds
    4. Switch the Dishwasher “on”, (On/Off button).
    5. Press Start
When the Auto Test starts, the Last Fault will be displayed for 15 seconds.
This will clear if the Auto Test is fully completed.

If it runs through that without any error code displayed then it would point to a main board failure. 🙁

Sadly very expensive, would advise inspection by an engineer with some experience of these machines rather than just changing parts.
