    Confusion??????

    Surely THIS post makes it quite clear.

    THE BOTTOM FIVE LIGHTS, INCLUDING THE DOOR LOCK LIGHT ARE USED FOR ERROR CODES.

    Open circuit heating element, have you been to the machine and actually meggered the element?

    That fault code should show after pressure switch has been closed for nine seconds.

    All parts the same across all three model variants.

    To identify it would be better to say which controls you think are faulty rather than upper left and lower left rings.

    Give us the controls by number from left to right that you suspect are at fault.

    Does the solar grill element come on at all ?

    Using the attached picture may be of help in identifying the three regulators you need.

    Not the easiest of jobs, both sides have to come off and the complete hob has to be loosened and moved out of the way as well as all the knobs etc.

    Don’t have error codes for this exact model but this is F04 on previous model.

    F04 Pump working when should be off.
    • Check security of module connector J5;
    • Check connector for signs of shorting due to moisture;
    • Replace module (F04 would normally be caused by a faulty
    module).

    Can only see one model number on that plate, the 1344 number is a date code.

    Can’t see any mention of an alternative switch/wiring in the tech bulletins either. 🙁

    Not that sure but the code 33701193 brings up two models, one Forno Inferiore the other Forno Superiore.

    The selector switch for the Superiore is different to either of the ones you have listed and it is a 41003026 as far as I can see.

    This is a picture of it, looks just like the other one though?

    Sounds very much like a new set will do the trick.

    Just remove them and examine the ends of the brushes, they should be smooth and shiny, not rough and pitted.

    Although it doesn’t usually give these symptoms a quick check of the main motor brushes would be the first thing to do top****. 😉

    Re: Diplomat APL 3301 Oven (MFI) – Manual Needed – Removing

    Even before MFI went bust in 2008 you would have had little or no chance of getting an ‘instruction’ manual but that wouldn’t have been any use to you.

    A ‘service’ manual probably never even existed as all the MFI appliances where bought in from several different manufacturers.

    If you post a few pictures of the door and hinges etc someone may have an idea.

    Admire Daves’ persistence but someone should take this fellas spade away before he buries himself completely, as the saying goes, “when you are in a hole, stop digging”.:(

    Re: Timer Knob – easy to fit? Tricity Bendix

    Looks like the right part, quite a simple job to change, once the outer knob is removed the inner knob is secured to the timer shaft by a small nut.
