Correct me if I am wrong but I understood that pat testing only needs to be done on appliances being used in commercial premises??

Steve is correct Ally, the pump is connected to one side of the motor and the motor coupling is on the other.

ParticipantRe: Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Model 913T, 87198
Have you been searching through your parchment copies again Chris? 😆 There is a part available part number 388824P which is called a “service kit dw spring hinge x 2” which retails at just over £4 but is currently on back order.
I assume because of the age that this is an import

There are two different pumps for the american top loader the only difference is the one has both hoses that are the same diameter and the other has two different size hoses fitted to it.
If the pump fits on to the hoses then it is the correct one and the you have probably got the tophat coupling stuck inside the old pump.
There is an earlier thread discussing this problem HEREJohn

ParticipantRe: Whirlpool AWOE 8548
Thank god I am no longer part of the Whirlpool service network as I would be embarassed to let you have this info if I was still doing work for them.
Complete tank for this one part number 480111100347 and looking at last years SIOS it retails at a modest £394.80, it has probably jumped up a bit since then.

ParticipantRe: Ignis Dishwasher ADL248IX – 8545 248 15829 – Module
The 1st part number you have is for a programmed module, the 2nd one is a blank and you need a SAM programmer to get it to work.
When you look on SIOS and see a board with “basic” or “sam” in the description it normaly means that the board is blank.
