If your machine is under 5 years old it is covered by a 5 year parts g/tee, as the E signifies it is an eveloution module with a 5 year parts g/tee, maybe worth getting indesit to have a look.

I take by reduced load you mean mini load, if so it is a heating fault.

Is it an old GEC motor? if so check the yellow tacho wires are not chaffing on motor casing, these can cause overheating or spin on wash i always tie them to the brush wire with a cable tie as a matter of course.

If you give the edge of the torx pulley bolt a couple of good whacks with a cold chisel, you will find the it will come of no bother at all i’ve never broken a Torx bit since a started doing this.

I usual unclip top of dispenser from bottom then using a bit off capilary pipe give it a good poke about then flush it out, you need both valves activated to divert water into fab compartment. make sure water press is high enough or it wont dispense also. jj

    Re: new partfinder

Its been a nightmare as an engineer emit and stock only recognised the old n/o but the delivery note and parts were stamped with the new n/o, if you couldnt remember the old part n/o we had trawl throught partfinder to dig it out. Thankfully part finder has been updated now and we can cross check parts on it now..

Yes display module faulty, also check that door seal isn,t perished around the heatbox excessive steam and moisture escaping can also cause this.

A new back plate cannot be fitted to an existing drum, reason being the drum shrinks slightly after a period of time, i,ve heard of one or two engineers claiming they have fitted a new one but i,ve never managed it if the bearings are totally shot its the works i,m afraid.

The wash motor is in series with the drain pump, you may have a duff wash motor, causing it not to pump.

I always replace the 8 micro farad capacitor if it has a white top as these were the the ones that were failing mostly, the ones with the black top usualy were okay.
