I’ve been caught out a couple of times shoved in thermistors, check in quick start up mode fan runs then wait for fan to start when it cools down, off i went thinking that was it job done, only to be recalled later same fault had to change the fan motor to cure, only 3 times now in the hundreds i’ve repaired but alomst always catches you out.

I have the special pliers they are normal pliers with 2 locating hooks welded 90 degrees on the ends, they hook into the eyelets and you draw them together and a little twist job done, mind you 1st couple of times is a right pain until you suss it out, unfortunatley they are not available now.

I’m sure there is a timed module to cure problems of thermistor going out of calibration, i,ve fitted a few for this fault i’m sure it was that model, the only one i had problems after fitting, was in an old large house and the ambient temp was on the low side, and the fridge froze everything due to it running on a timer. I’ll have a look for part n/o to-morrow cheers jj Part n/o is 2503982 though it ihas been
superseded dont know the supersision n/o ‘
