SMEG = mega £££££’s to fix if out of warranty, spares can be a nightmare as can be tech info, IMHO very over priced for what they are.

Most built under double ovens will be made abroad, the De Dietrich or Fagor brands are very nice ovens, reasonable spare parts costs and tech info no problem, De Dietrich comes with 2 year warranty and Fagor 1 year, links to websites below

    Re: Fagor pyrolytic oven

    Hi Avril,

Fagor ovens are extremely good value for money, they are basically a De Dietrich oven with a different front design, the pyrolytic ovens will come with a 5 year warranty, every one I have sold the customer has been extremely happy, in fact my sister in law who cooks and bakes for a living says it’s the best oven she has ever had.

Visit http://www.fagor.co.uk for all the information you need, the De Dietrich brand will possibly have some extra functions and touch control but the actual carcass and oven cavity are exactly the same as Fagor ovens.

Yeah it goes behind the front balance weight and connects to the tub front cover, typical SMEG crazy idea :rolls:

Have sent you what I have on it 😀

Re: CDA CL994 no spin fault code E06

Model is CI994 and produced by SMEG, E06 is definitely drain error code, I can send you test cycle procedures if you PM me your email.

When you cleaned the pressure system did you remove the front balance weight and tub front because that is where it get gunked up, I’ve had a few like it before where the hole for the pressure tube assembly is partially blocked giving intermittent errors with draining and filling.

It’s a bitch of a job but could be the problem 😯

Easiest way is to drill 2 x 12mm holes in the panel where the fan element studs and nuts are located behind then you can get your nutspinner on them.

Beleive me that is the recommended way by DD technical ❗

Your right it’s made by Hoover/Candy, probably main board, I haven’t got any tech info for this one I believe GDHA (Stoves) have taken over the servicing for Howdens Joinery appliances, you could try and contact them for info, good luck !
