Well Martin it’s still playing up after I changed the drain pump, only thing left is PCB or heater/diverter assembly, thanks for all your help though appreciate it, doing my head in this one :bang:

Thanks for the help Martin, I will go back and double check what you have suggested, it’s very strange as when it is doing this the timer will not reset and when you open the door the pump is still running like in overfill mode but the red float has not moved !

Thanks Martin, the red float doesn’t bounce when it empties and fills as I’ve watched it when the machine does this, I didn’t think it was a PCB problem, so do you recommend stripping the wash motor down or replace the heater box, spray arms seem to be rotating ok when it washes

Changed a door seal on a FUS-6116 W/Dryer last week, not an easy job but I have had worse, they have got better and are a reasonable price as have a 5 year warranty on some of the range and are quite popular with my customers 🙂

As far as I know Lee all Fagor washers are produced in Spain, that’s what I was told by their Technical Manager the last time I went there on a training course a couple of months ago, you can find this washer branded by Prima and a couple ot others as well

Thanks Mike but this one dosent have a jug impellor, I still think it could be the PCB

Hi Don, thought of that but it’s in the open and they would see it leaning back, but if all else fails might have to try it !!

My sentiments exactlt Doc, if it wasn’t for my appliance sales I don’t know how I would survive, contract work just don’t pay unless in excess of £50 a call
