The error codes for these machine always start e0 then a number from 1 upwards e08 is a main motor problem and e09 is a main pcb problem

Only thing to check which is a nightmare to do as it’s a full strip down is to clean the fluff out of the evaporater and fan area.

3 main faults on these dryers either the heater is faulty , the pcb , or front ntc, like iadom has said if the fault is definitely eo8 this is a heater fault

It sounds like to me either the front panel or door seal are not fitted correctly more than likely the door seal
