Got machine working 2nd hand facia panel with a wae24363 touch button display board and hay presto machine works fine so you can just plug in any display board just to confirm it’s gone, this is not something I would do for a customer it’s for a re con lol

Re: rubbish non genuine dryer capacitors

The capacitors are failing a lot on the hoover dryers I am ex hoover engineer and 15 mins the whole dryer would be apart, I agree with pattern ones from masterpart are rubbish every single 1 I fitted I was back to in a month, I only use genuine hotpoint 8.5 capacitors on the dryers and never had a call back.

    Re: Why be gas safe

I know the gas safe reg I was making a point about why customers think it’s ok to fit gas appliances themselves and if anything goes wrong the appliance in warranty they call someone out and its there responsible to make it save at no cost to the customer.

    Re: Masterpart

I always shop around for the best prices and if I want a hotpoint indesit creda cannon part I go direct they wount be beaten on price, problem is that when a customer asks for a price for a part you need to order because you haven’t got one on the van out on the road you look at the price and quote them because you don’t have 4-5 companies to look at with a computer screen in front of you especially if your doing 14 plus jobs a day. What gets on my nerves is connect putting vat on carriage, qualtex doesn’t do it. Plus I thought forums where about having a opinion everyone has 1 and sometimes not everyone agrees. Kai 😛
