ParticipantRe: Hotpoint FDW80P Rinse Aid Indicator
My golden rule is if its working and safe don,t touch it.
and you can always just use 3 in 1 tablets if you do get problems with the rinse sectionkarv
ParticipantRe: APM2590
bulbs use to go a lot on these I think its just the heat not alot you can do.

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF100 – No Motor Action
maybe intermittent harness fault, my guess would be board or software if when testing on board you got the motor to go around and if motor seems ok
I heard about a faulty or low insulation ntc causing strange motor responses once but i think they said it was not spinning.karv
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint f/f faulty
not a clue on this 1 a guess .fridge inside light? door magnets
is the appliance in a cold area out of ambient temperature range .
ice build up
fan running
module problem
system problemkarv
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Bearings
These systems don,t take in to account peoples working speeds
normally the older maybe the more profession guys or just a bit slower will take longer maybe to much tea hehe , than a younger guy that wants to be home by 3pm
I get the impression hotpoint/indesit and other companys have alot of older guys working for them,
and with the new working age going to 65 to 68 they not going to get any fasterkarv
ParticipantRe: Oven won’t switch on 🙁
roughly things that would come to mind on a basic oven if its wired in a basic way
1 timer on auto if has one
2 door or hinge micro switch faulty if it has one
3 terminal block burn,t /not tight
4 come away or burn,t connection at top
5 faulty timer /does it have a grill does that still work?
6 oh try another socket in case something strange going onkarv
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WD860 stops on 1 minute remaining
Have you checked the waste pipe is not to far down the down pipe if you have one .
I had a element causing problems once can,t recall if was open circuit or low insulation.karv
ParticipantRe: sickness
I would ring up your hr department and find out if he allowed to do that with no appointment.
With stress depression ect A Dr would tell you to go sit by a lake and look at ducks allday if you told him that it made you feel better or going for long walks, lots of reasons why you would,t be in.karv
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WD420
im guessing its not got any kind of low insulation problem.
I would say board is faulty my golden rule is if same fault not the board if diffrent fault after you replaced board very likely to be the board.
i,ve heared ntc,s and heaters can cause very odd problems on these machines as well
does the motor sound and test ok?
worn intermitten brake in loom?
pressure chamber to old type filter if it as blocked?
Thats my guess i think i would go with module again thokarv
ParticipantRe: Proline Not heating.- new element.
no idea about this dw but sounds like to me that the 1 on the element is the over heat cut out stat and it probaly got to hot when the motor siezed , some times they are reset able , the second stat will most likely controll the heat some use to be next to the dispencer inside of door or pin up against the base of the tank or some maybe some form of ntc stat

ParticipantRe: Diplomat ADP8322 Stuttering Cicr pump, new pump- still s
i,ve never had a brand new type motor stutter before myself , but i,ve had the bottom plate brake 481241818341 – loads which cause the old type motors to wear out very fast , tho i would of done both at the same time due to knowing what i was looking for .
are the spray arm cleared?
pipe not kinking to heater or motor when under pressure ?
ps i found repairs to the litle goal post clips on bottom plate never normal last long and it will pop out againkarv
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint BFI620 Door seal
c00056475 i think is for 60cm as colin says
bfi8 is 60 cm uses diffrent inner door tho but might be due to fan hole and diffrent controls but same outer door and same hinge assy and spring system with this as a lower seal kit with some luck it will fit if it fits the bfi8 it might fit the bfi620 or you might of just been unlucky with the door you got ,i recall fitting a door seal ages ago might of been hotpoint and came with a door with seal at bottom no idea of the model numbertho, i just took seal of the new one and put on the old door maybe someone did that with your door then sent it backkarv
ParticipantRe: Hotpoint WF620
if the 30 mm bearings are gone and you don,t want to change the bearings , your need a rear half/kit which come with 35 mm bearings and your need a 35mm drum support, most wma complete tub would fit on the rear as long as they were 35mm unless is a 7kg or washer dryer version this si just going from memory tho , you may require new heater and inner drum seal as well which comes with the kit version
