Where abouts in the UK are you.? Your problem could be caused by use of 5in 1/3 in 1 tablets and too much salt. This would cause overfoaming which would lead to leaks from the door.HTH

The heater will probably be down to earth. For some reason a short circuit heater triggers the board into thinking the inlet valve is at fault.

The maximum if it is over 5 years(which it isn,t) is £119,so still cheaper than a new machine.
    Sorry Mrs rosdaw

Yup,if you look at the top of the spinner you will see a plastic ring, pull that out and away you go.
Lay the machine on its end so that the spinner is uppermoust, when you remove the pulley from the bottom of the spinner you will see that the counterweight has a keyhole slot in it,make sure this is pointing up before you remove the weight or else you will lose the pin.

Is it all over frost and how deep is it?
Is the fridge cold enough or too cold?

Probably a suspension peg dropped out.Tip the machine back and where the suspension dampers fit to the drum, they should be secured with two plastic pegs.
Push them back in if they are adrift and bend the little locking tab out with a small screwdriver.
    Power off of course..
PS watch the edges of the base as they are very sharp.

    Re: Hotpoint VTD20 tumble drier.

    And another one.
    Top off
    right hand side panel off
remove three screws from back of left hand side panel
put your foot in the belt and pull (bullworker style)with your hands to stretch the belt a bit
pull the drum away from the front support and slip the belt on
put the screw back in the left hand panel
BIG screw driver and lever the belt onto the motor shaft.
    Easy.

Re: Hotpoint TDC60 tumble dryer puts out no heat

It is possible to test the water level switch but it is a devil to get at.
You need to srip the side panels off and you will see a micro switch which can be checked for continuity.
There is a test programe for the sensors etc. but you need a test link to get the programme to run.
I think by what you have said that the dryness module is faulty especially when you describe the clicking of the relays.
Have you tested the new stats to make sure they are both closed circuit?
It isn,t unknown for duff parts to be found in new packets.

Are you testing it on sensor dry?
Try testing it on timed dry and se what happens, the empty water light isn,t on is it..

Re: Hotpoint Ultima Frost Free Fridge/Freezer

The fan will not run until it reaches approx-18 C
It is possible to buy a new rear panel which has all the foil and foam on it.
I would put the cover back in place and see what temperature you are getting in 24 hours before you spend anything though.

Re: Hotpoint RFA60 freezer not working

It sounds like it has lost its gas.
I would be buying a new one as you are just going to be in for hard times if you get it regassed,it might work it might not.It will probably run ok for a couple of months then go off again.
Or you may be very lucky and it will be a succesful repair.
