Sometimes the knob itself can bind. Might be worth pulling it off and cleaning it up. Don’t push it back on so far when you refit it. If it still sticks then new timer required.

I am implying nothing of the sort mate,I am just saying where do you stop.
AS an employee of Indesit it would be unproffesional and suicidal to slag off one of my companys products, sorry for offering a light hearted opinion.

If watchdog are going after appliances with breaking cables then Dyson must be papping themselves along with every manufacurer of drills, hedgecutters, irons you name it.I regularly repair a builder friends Makita paddle mixer, perhaps I should point him Anne Robinsons way next time.

Rather a sensational headline “catching fire” to my knowledge none of these have exploded or caught fire they have gone bang maybe but most that I have come across are still working and customer doesn,t know that it is broke.

After changing 2 Hotpoint induction hobs for a customer after repeated failure, she was supplied with a Bosch and has had no problems with it after 2 years service. She has however managed to chip the corner off it!!
I fully agree with Clive, stick with a known brand and at least you will get the service back up should it go wrong.

There is a litle tab on this hose which has a habit of getting bent in on itself when you fit the new heaters.Take the heater out and check to see it isn,t trapped.

You could point it at a bottle of milk or summat.
There again I might just spend the money on booze 🙂

Reset the module by turning both knobs to zero and then turning back on again. Also make sure that the magnets fitted in the door are still in position, there is a panel at the top of the door and the magnets are behind that.

Put some water in the drum and remove wires from heater, fit a mains lead direct to the heater and see if the element goes oc after a few minutes,I have had a couple do this.

Get the engineer back, sounds like it has a thermocouple on the oven burner which may have a bad connection.

You can get the blitz clips that are already fit to them, use a pair of pincers to tighten them up.
Personally I have never had a problem with the jubilee clips we use quite a narrow flexible one and it pulls in no problem.

Re: PLEASE HELP!SHOULD I BUY AN ISE WASHING MACHINE?ADVICE N

Given its taken you this long to decide on a washer,I,m suprised your wife ever got pregnant.! 😉
The Aqualtis machine is pretty reliable and you are getting a good price, but bear in mind there is no warranty on it other than 12 months and 4 years extra on parts only.
I doubt it will match the ISE on build quality but then that is reflected in the price.
