I have an 18 V De Walt which is a gem ,Very robust gets kicked to death batteries seem to last forever ,Clutch so no shredding the heads of screws

We Have a set Tarrif Callout within 10 miles £ 30. + VAT
20 miles £ 40. + VAT
30 miles £ 50. + VAT
all includes the first 1/4 hr labour £ 10.00 per 1/2 hr after

If you want me too look at a SMEG Or Brandt group product then it doesnt matter where you are it’s a Min of £40. + vat callout unless you are within 30 miles then it’s £ 50. +VAT. And I know I am cheap compared to some especially on the Brandt stuff
Don’t undervalue yourself there was a formula somewhere on UKW but I don’t know where it is but it helps you calculate what your true costs are maybe someone can point you in the right direction

Talking of slipping on laminate floor ,What about when the customer has a gravel drive and it gets stuck in the tread of your boots ,I skidded across a ceramic floor the other day ,felt like I was on ice then cust says ” hope you haven’t marked the floor..”

I need some advice on this ,How much would you charge Callout and labour to do this job /how many engineers to do Brandt tell me it is a good two hour job if all goes well with a following wind ,so I reckon on three once its back in the housing ( it’s not under counter either )
