BobHope wrote:just wondering how many of us lot have a waste carrier license, i have held one for nine years now and dont see the admin a problem, but by law if you collect packaging or old appliances you must have the ticket to do so, i found out the hard way when i was stopped by the local envoiroment guy.
Cheers Bob.
Do you want to expand on that a bit Bob ,are you saying if we sell mrs jones a new appliance and dispose of her old one we have to have a licence to carry the waste away ?

From what I heard and read Michelin did fly a load of new tyres out to indy. the FIA said the teams couldn’t fit them as it contravened the new tyre regs ,Personally I think it’s all political ,And all tied in with the GPWC coming on stream in 2008 ,Its all a power struggle that was being played out behind closed doors that has now erupted into the public domain ,But hey we are only the fans what do we matter 🙄

According to the sheet
1- to access the test cycle press the start button 5 times in succesion after turning it on ( from memory this either works first time or takes forever !!) you will know you are in the test cycle because the LED’s will start to scroll through in sequence .
2- the start button moves you through to the next stage
3- to cancel the test cycle hold the start button for 5 secs
hope this helpsLawrence

ParticipantRe: Electrolux Coin Op Commertial Machines
The two fuses you refer to are safety fuses to protect the control circuit ,if some one has advanced the timer by hand this would be enough to blow them .If you need anything else pm me ,But be warned electrolux commercial require full model no and serial no before they will entertain a spares order

I think the point is that we are having to buy information to enable us to buy parts to then repair a product . I take the point about licenses etc but
after all if they front loaded the costs of licensing and production costs on to the parts we would be none the wiser ,they then supply the info free, voila they cover there costs we dont feel ripped off and we are all happyIf the catalogue companies charged you for the privilige of having their catalogues think what it would do to there sales .
surely Argos et al must factor in there catalogue costs somewhere must’nt they ?
