    Hi Wilf,
Have you read the sticky I referred to in my post above?
If not, please follow this link.
I did a search for posts from you in the trade tech forum and found 306 matches.
On the first page of those (50 threads containing your name) I found twelve threads started by you. The very last one was on July 30th.
Most of those twelve posts do at least give model numbers and appliance types :tright: . They don’t, though, mention what fault you have. So you still have some work to do by my reckoning. Still, if everybody did as well as you’re doing so far, things would already be better. IN MY OPINION.

    Re: Using Search facility

Please also re-read my “sticky” about how to make searching easier. The more efficient a search is the more people will use it.
And I agree the search box should be right there next to the “new topic” button. Then we could all get our lives back!

Re: Has this site been mentioned on here before ?

A thought. Is it possible that this site might have been infiltrated by someone outside the trade who has a penchant for writing and selling manuals?
I think I’ll strengthen my password.

Thanks John. That was easy like you said. Makes you wonder why they can’t make domestic ones that easy.
Phidom, it’s worth mentioning that the drum hangs loose, held only by the rear wheels, as you remove the front. I’m sure you’ll cope.
There’s instructions in the packet with the belt.

Hoover buttons on the washers have a bad habit of getting broken and not making contact with switch. Wonder if it’s same on driers?

Re: bwd129 Live to Dryer water valve, when not started

I am reminded of how water valves come into operation on WMA’s during spin when brushes down. Have I remembered that right? Anyway, worth a look. Could try unplugging motor and see if it’s any better.
