Thanks Mark. Should have mentioned that I had checked it on 1st visit, and had already checked motor esp. TOC. Can’t remember if I checked heater. (Hmm).

Thanks spimps. I’ll do some experimenting.
“and don’t forget to take the plastic bag off” – yeah, never would have thought of that.

    Easy peasy!
Tube running from base of fill matrix to sump is choked. Take out sump filter and work a thick cable tie or thin soft bottle brush in along the tube which enters the sump from left near front of machine. Water comes along there under gravity only so it gets gunked up.

New module £112. That’s BER for one of these.
Anyway, this isn’t about having an easy life, it’s about having an interesting one.

You’re right Franz. They’re only in flimsy clear bags anyway so I don’t think unwrapping them would really render them unreturnable.
What I really want to know is whether warming them up prior to fitting is a reliable and permanent fix or will they rapidly return to the below spec state and my customer be in (at least theoretical) danger? And will they soon fail? Previous one in this particular oven (Diplomat dual fuel cooker) lasted about three years.

Re: Servis DMPDC H8 module small resistor value.

Thanks Tim. Door doesn’t lock and bridging it made no difference. The two 6k2 in parallell read 3k1 just as it should be.
I guess it’s probably something about the module and I’ll probably have a further look at it later before giving in and sending it off to EMW. Just thought I might be missing something else in the circuit.

    Oh well. 🙁

Anyone got a circuit diagram? Servis M9003W.

Still dead. Not getting neutral anywhere. Checked already on/off sw, door lock. Power light comes on, so there’s a neutral to that at least. Tightened up all module connectors. Patient customer, has friends who’ll take her washing in.

Wish I’d known it just needed a triac, could have made myself a few quid a few weeks ago.

Control pcb available from Connect plus 180 other parts listed. Used your 2nd model no. in the search box.

Worth checking that draining properly – filter/sump. Maybe disconnect p/sw hose. Have you got a Connect a/c? Info is on Mediator. PM me if no.

    Re: fie56 oven

You should be able to bridge it. Unless it’s one of those unusual people who uses it. But you could do it to diagnose, anyway.
