ParticipantRe: 2 X Zanussi’s
Went to ZWD12270W today. Was doing nothing but constant pump on all progs. Then she mentioned, “oh, and the drier gave up some time ago”. I measured the element, it was OK for continuity and 19 megs IR. Disconnected it anyway and machine sprang back to life!
I’m thinking these Zan electronics get upset very easily. They really should do something about it if they want to keep their reputation.

You sure it’s not 082621305 ? That’s posn. 47 on the exploded. Otherwise, I hope it’s not that solenoid type thing on the circulation motor chamber which comes with the motor.

This site here has a pic.
Looks like a pretty universal shape to me.

Ok, I just saw the third (?) thread on this one. So it’s a 32900082.

ZWD1252 could be drier element down to earth.
Hope you get some help with the other one cause I’ve got similar booked in Friday afternoon.

There’s a whole load of stuff on mediator. About a dozen PDFs. PM me if you can’t find it.

ParticipantRe: Manufacturering plants of white goods.
When customers ask me what they should get to follow their BER, I tell them I can’t help much except to give a rather long list (and getting longer) of what NOT to buy. If they really put pressure on me after that I suggest they go round the shed gradually climbing the price scale until they find one with a label that says unequivocally, “Made in Germany”. I almost never go and look myself, have neither time nor inclination. So am I giving the right advice? :duck:

When the lock takes out the pcb it usually blows it so it won’t even register an E code.

Exploded’s on mediator. Not too easy to read but looks to me like 83115011 = “simple tray support S2K”
and83150201 = “chromed guides fitting nut S2K”
OOS of course.

Not sure about your model but E40 is usually door/lock related.

Have a picture of the board I did, showing the AC switch concerned if you’re interested in trying to repair it. It’s labelled TYACS3 and is in one corner of the board, easy to find. Replacement component costs pennies from RS. If you send me your e-mail address I can send the pic. and a link to the spare.

Energy regulator? 40ER101C1 is listed for this model (150, wca not recognised) on Connect. Don’t think it’s the manuf’ pt. no. but it should get you there.
