Have you had a look at the module? They usually burn out at the main connectors.

ParticipantRe: Indesit IDL500
Could be a blockage somewhere. I can’t see how a flowmeter could malfunction in that way. It would have to give out lots more pulses than it should be doing. Hard to imagine. Or the board would have to count them wrong? Or is it one that “learns” the water level from previous wash and needs some sort of re-set?

Could be timer/module blown up by shorting lock. Usually leaves blown tracks.

ParticipantRe: Tecnik Range Cooker – Upper Element
Have a look on http://www.elementman.co.uk If it’s not there, e-mail him.
At same time try a PNE to Connect.

The grill element is A094831. Not sure if that’s what you’re after? Connect has it 5031687736970.

It’s all on Mediator and therefore probably on Lux site too. Looks like standard large Zan bearing kit will fit. 6206/6207 and 40.2 x 72 x 11/14 seal. Same spider too.

I wonder if the customer paid for the diagnosis? I was charged £15 for a similar diagnosis on a laptop. If they said “keep it” instead of paying the fee, maybe the shop broke it up for spares.

I think this is a very exceptional case when something is that bad that it causes P45 a headache. I think you should sell them an ISE or something and uplift the offending machine, give it a little bit of space next to the landcrab and peck at it when you have a free moment. Certainly not worth getting in a flap over.

Very unusual….
for the water to get to that level.
Usually leaks out of the hole in the bottom. 😆

Certainly sounds plausible. Don’t know how long you’d have to sit watching to confirm it though.

Now got a call to do same job on a Samsung P1453. He’s blaming the dog!
I looked it up and it’s £64 SRP or £58 incl vat trade. I suggested he get the part himself and I’ll fit it. He’s happy to do that and it saves me having to secure the money from him first. And he knows it’s not me who makes the part so expensive.
This seems to be becoming a common problem but I don’t recall having many door seals do this in the past.
Any thoughts?

ParticipantRe: Hoover WE140 Bearing kit
Connect list “rear bearing” as 6204 so likely front is 6205.
I think I saw the word quattro mentioned somewhere. I’d therefore be inclined to make my excuses and leave.
