Nice one, bagman 😆 . Though I think they just might cotton on too quickly that I was taking the proverbial with that one.
I’m thinking now about trying to give the impression that I am terrified of them (hence using 141) and keep someone on the phone for about an hour (maybe one day when I’m short of work :rolls: ) giving them a sob story life history of everything that’s ever gone wrong in my life -maybe watch some Little Britain clips of Vicki Pollard beforehand to get me in the right mood.

    Re: Performing Rights Society

I got an answerphone message yesterday from “Nathalie from PRS music” saying it was just to follow up on the letter (3) they hadn’t had a reply to. :rotfl: She asked me to ring 0800 588 4101 and mention a reference number with 2 letters and 7 numbers (so it’s not just me they’re after 😀 ).
I don’t have any intention of wasting one second of my time ringing them, but 💡 then again it would be nice to waste some of their time……..hmm misquote ref no maybe? …use 141 ? any ideas?

I had a Beko doing similar things, can’t remember exactly, which is why I have that flowmeter in stock. Turned out to be the board which was only about £25 retail IIRC.

It’s a magnet stuck to a watermill blade about 3cm dia., housed in a round plastic cover with a reed switch stuck on the side. 😆
Beko have one that costs £3.50 from Connect 1729900100, but whether that’s the one you need I don’t know. The reed switch is the bit that most commonly fails and you will probably find out all about that if you do a search in these forums.

    Have both the sections gone?
You could measure the old one up, then have a look at
    http://www.elementman.co.uk/index.htm
You should be able to sort something out from all that info. The Whirlpool ones might be a good place to start. Get the original part no of one that looks similar and you can then shop around. 😉

    Re: Ariston AWD12 UK. AAAGGGHHH

AWD12 has got to be about five years old plus by now. Any machine of that ilk which has given 5 years service has far outlasted its peers and deserves its retirement, i.e. BER.
Just send back the module and cut the stress.

Third letter came yesterday. (Together with new Council Tax Bill pretending to be some sort of friendly information pack with smiley faced leaflets printed at my expense.)
I’m thinking of writing back under the guise of RPS , Rainforest Preservation Society, notifying them that their misuse of paper products is threatening our atmosphere. 👿

Yes, that works. Thanks Jim. Must remember to put AND between every word from now on. Or maybe just open another tab and use Google.

    Re: UKW search facility.

OK. Is there something wrong with my computer 😕 . Just now I did a search for (making sure all words were four letters or more) and got the no topics message again (all available forums).
I’m pretty sure this is the first search I’ve done here since Weds.
Same into Google and up pops a hit from UKW!
