Re: White Knight vented dryer – which belt??

A suggestion only, 1600J3 fits a lot of t/ds from Wht Knt, WHP, Creda, Candy and Lux! and is associated with models which take a pulley. £1.63 as BLT065 from Connect. There are several other belts associated with machines which use a pulley 🙁 . What else do you remember about the machine? I take it it’s full size? How old is it? Does it use the banjo element? Is the back the squarish one? Your brain and memory are the best tools in such situations.
But why the hell can’t she find the model no.? :rolls:
Could she e-mail you a photograph? (Of the machine )

    Don’t go!!!
If you cant find the necklace, or if you find it and succeed in secreting it in your toolbox, they’ll be claiming off your PLI! 😆

Surely, coming from repairs@, a prime candidate for an ISE.

Had one doing that, coming up E61 intermittently. No fault with element or ntc. Changed heater relay on board (RL1 I think it was, but follow tracks to edge of board to be sure). All was OK thereafter.

Re: Bosch D/W….I’m stumped on this TBH.

What George said has jogged my brain. Could possibly be a capacitor gone down on the board. IIRC, they don’t like laying idle for years on end. Obviously check the easy one on the motor first.
QER.biz might be able to repair board.

for conformance to the specified limit if the capacitor has
been stored for four years or more.” panasonic

    Re: I should cocoa!

    I was joking; sort of.
But in reality, in such circumstances, I think I would risk putting in an estimate, quote even, for the cost of bearings + inner drum replacement (or welded drum if appropriate). I don’t think the insurance company would be very likely to take me to court, even if they did bother subsequently getting a second opinion and I turned out to be wrong.
The only way I would consider I had come unstuck is if they asked me to do the b****y job! But then I could just say I was too busy!

082605135 It’s the big round 2500W same as Creda etc.
That’s according to two reliable sources I just checked. However there are Mk2 models using 081561600 which is a three turn 2500w element. Pattern in stock on Connect.

    Re: Unknown brand dishwasher

There’s usually a link against each non-English Google result which says something like, “translate this result.” Clicking on that link opens the result all roughly translated for you. Amazing stuff. I think they use it to write Haier etc. instruction manuals. 😆

Re: Howdens HJA8703 (see latest post – drying faults).

Got one of these to look at. Have put off till Friday. Intermittent drying problems apparently. Sometimes will fill and not stop filling when set to dry, other times will only pump, other times will work OK. Washing programme reputedly works OK. Customer going to try a rant at Howdens as only 2 y o apparently and has had other problems but he’s ranted at them before without success. I’ve said I’ll have a look and no promises. meanwhile he’s going to try some other programmes as he’s the owner but lets out the property most of the time.
Any ideas or info. would be gratefully received.

Definitely looks like a Ceset motor. You will probably find that either the Zanussi or Whirlpool types will fit depending on direction of slant. Can’t imagine you won’t have something already on the van to fit that.

Re: Zanissi Washer Dryer ZJD 1219

If it’s got a three way valve with a green solenoid coil it could be that. Coil goes o/c shortly after starting up but will measure OK when you test it because it’s cooled again. Usually displays E10 when it stops. Think it was Steve who originally posted about that years ago.
