ParticipantRe: Duel fuel cooker repairs
It’s the responsibility of the last Gas Engineer, not the last person to touch it.

Take the base off, it’s attached to the salt container and has two wire connectors, looks the same as the valve your fill hose screws onto. The photos I’ve put here are of your model, so it’ll help to identify.

Unless your gas competent which means trained you cannot be deemed responsible, but commonsense is used as a qualified electrical technician should be aware leaking gas joints should not be left to leak, but an appliances flame picture being wrong due to low gas pressure is not something an untrained person would be expected to spot.
It would take a pretty dump person to damage the gas components on a dual fuel cooker when replacing an element or fan motor.

ParticipantRe: Should my dryer get this hot?
Dryers have fail safe devices to prevent anything harmful. The worst usually happens by misuse, poor maintenance etc. The dryer works hotter than 80 degrees, so heat just transfers through the body. I wouldn’t worry until you see flames.

I don’t have one. Hence the instructions.

ParticipantRe: Fridge/freezer help required
Fridges have temp differential zones. To women this is confusing, hence the response is usually mocking. The rear wall reaches temp of -11 so liquids could freeze.

The regs relating to gas quite clearly state you cannot break into a gas carrying component. Replacing electrical components is perfectly legal on a dual fuel appliance as long as no gas components are worked on.

You don’t need one.

If you shine a light on the metal lip under the hole for the door lock you’ll notice very faint etching information which will include the model, FD & serial numbers.
For pump access you’ll need to place the appliance on its side, remove the base cover. The drain pump will be visual, it’s held with a clip and then twist off.
The appliance Martin has advice on is a different version, easily ID as yours has a grey plastic base, the model Martin is referring to is stainless steel.

The neutral is the white wire the other 2 are the supply.
Or are they. I’d suggest attaching you meter and do some live testing.lee8
ParticipantRe: Beko DPU8360 Drier no heat
It’s likely lost refrigerant, it’s R407, you should be able to locate leaks using an electronic detector, the compressor knackered usually means a replacement product unless you have access to commercial equipment.
