so basically change it for the 35mm ( complete drum rear and seal ) and the spider, both pins.
do the rear half and drum support come as a kit for this then? and the seal or seperate items?
Thx.

fasetester wrote:thanks martin for your reply. the owner got a ticket but misplaced it but when i rung up and told them the said that should not be a problum . but would need time to look for it how long do you have to collect something is it six months thanks fasetester.
I do believe it is or atleast was 6 months that your liable but in this case given that they said do what ya want i think again, no leg to stand on.
I’t happened in the shop a few times….BER a product then 3 days later they want it back for some reason or another after originally telling us to take it to the recycle yard ( at our cost ) then change their mind, simple fact is, its been took already and thats the end of it.

That laptop is in the comfort of a new loving home working perfick!
Probably sat surfing ukwg for freebies, LOL iv’e set something off now LOL.TBH this stuff goes on all the time, you were only doing ( or they were only doing ) is what us engineers hope OUR customers will do to us “TRUSTING”.
I would always get a second opinion with something before i went to the extremes of just shouting do what ya want with it, unless ya got loads of money to go buy a new one.
If they don’t get it back then it’s a lesson learned or atleast the “never knowing” will be more your grevence,or theirs as ya say.Come on OWN UP, It was you really wasn’t it and you feel daft now.LOL.
Only joking fella.
😆 😉What was the actual fault of the machine? I.E what was it not doing that it should and vice versa

good idea that about the sus pins iadom, will add it to the quote. 😉
so to determine the bearing sizes im gonna have to measure or do it by its number imprinted?

To be honest yes! it will be the famous uplift LOL.
Thing is i have a baumatic awaiting a element and a wash pump. A bosch d/w waiting on a element, and a bosch dishwasher leaking from the sump seal .
All of which i have taken away for various reasons, element for bosch= tub off and customer wants me to do tuesday instead of tommorow, so im uplifting that tommorow , gives me few days to do ( if its hot fri, sat, sunday it can wait ) soon as the weathers crap i will do some work.
Bosch seal is uplifted because i want to give it a damn good test afterwoods ( if it turns out its the seal at fault upon stripping it down ).Various reasons really….all to my benefit.
aeg element to d/w tommorow afternoon and that wf630 to look at in the afternoon.Tbh i call this BUSY with whats its been like lately.
The local rag had a sick week off ( my advert manager ) and my advert was due so it has been out the paper for a week, i know reputation helps but 9 months is all ive been in this town so thats to build on.Anyway i think thats enough babbling on ive had a few beers.

LOL Martin, Leave me a few eh?
I actually like it when u get a call “ive got the belt but hubby cant fit it” its a right pain i tell em! ( well im not gonna tell them how to do it am i ) then i go round and put the belt under my foot…. give a good hard tug or two then fit! normally gives it the edge,But i do agree, pure brute force is needed most the time and they really are a pain for such what should be a complete doddle.
I worry about ripping my wrists to bits if i happen to slip while applying pressure, some real sharp nasty edges on these machines.Keep making shoddy crap by all means, but produce a machine that will round them sharp edges for us engineers would ya. 8)

iadom wrote:Ahem. I think you will find there was a full stop between the washer with the broken weight and the tumble dryer with the duff bearings. LJ 😉 😀
The weights do break off these often, usually preceded by loud noises but if people are out at work or the machine is in a garage they will not always hear it. 😥
As for VTD dryer belts they also snap for fun, even when the bearings are OK. :rolls:
Fact is they are just shoddy machines these days.
pardon me for missreading. 😉LJDomestics
ParticipantRe: junk
Well if the bearing have gone they should of been looked at/changed long ago and the weight may not of snapped due to all the vibration and same goes for the belt, if it had been repaired earlier rather than continued use then the latter 2 things may not of happened at all, typical of the public tbh.

ParticipantRe: Roly 16 Mk II
come on iadom, thats only 90 minutes of work between the 2 wm bearing changes! how have you managed to work up a sweat in that time? not even uplifts so no hard lifting involved!

ParticipantRe: Belling IDW604 dishwasher leak.
look inside the problematic side within the d/w.
had one once were the tub had a half inch split in it at a seem.
worth a look, also the lower seals outer edges do wear over time with all the opening and shutting of the door, may need changing tbh. -
