Well theres only 3 important gasgets for the gearbox, 1 , tub seal never had to change 1
2 is the top hat spring loaded counter face to the spigot and above that is the cork one thats below the nutthe top hat seal is still availble on connections at wait for it
£13 lol that will be the culprit iff its leaking i have the part number iff you need it ..phil

Great post bosch-engineer , i probs dont see as many as you , all ways been the magnetron in my case lol as well as door switches , In all the years the inverter systom has been out

yes they have gone 🙁 receivers went in monday took cda for a few grand , took baumatic for 120k but thats a rumour as far as i no 🙁

wrong pcb fitted as from the looks of it , what was the origanal fault or code ? salt light means nothing as a fault code ? sounds like a usual no heat pcb fault , heater or cabinet stat , more likley the latter

magnets cracked on magetron is my lucky guess 9 times out of ten is the usual 🙂

only charged minimum fee , new customer and all well made up with our service . but still will fight for customer rights if there is any 🙁phil

Update
crosslee are not messing around there dropping a new dryer off today .
after reading kwatts post had a little look at it , it looks like the motor thats gone up in smoke . the bosch was at the side of the dryer , in a
utility room , not much in it other than washing baskets and a pile of clothes , Loan machine at the ready waiting for dryer to turn up 🙂
customer well happy so far 🙂 they have been a loyal customer for 20 odd years …Re: Candy GO482

no just unscew it , its a pressure switch, it is o/c till pump runs like the whirpool
n smeg dishwashers that get clogged up . check the ntc probe has not come awayits hard to see as its located at the front of the sump a pound to a penny pcb has a a dry joint or goosed , or door wires o/c

Franzyes had this before wants the fan motor get to a certain temp can go open circuit , had one that was bench run for hours but get it cold
and it went o/calso more than likely yellow block thermister in freezer braking down is the problem 🙂
