ParticipantRe: Display and cycles confused. Washer won’t start
It could be a whole raft of potential failings. From a faulty heater to troubles with the motor. Not to overlook the possibility the main circuit board has issues.
Sorry but no stock answer, all of the above will need checking out. 🙁

It might be that the sump hose and water level system are a tad sludged up. When was the last time you checked the drain filter?

2 years ago nomadPaul mentioned the use of a ‘sealing strip’ in one of his posts. I’m not at all sure whether this is an official BSH fix or what, you might like to contact him.

New fascia panel and on/off switch = 00666391
Poke a matchstick in the switch for it to stay on long enough to ensure the system functions 💡

ParticipantRe: Bosch dishwasher tripping RCD
The interference filter isn’t usually a problem on these but it is very old so can’t rule it out. Leaky motor seal, perished thermostat grommets, wiring harness through the door, rodent damage to internal wires and leaking rinse aid solution onto that wiring harness all need to be checked and eliminated.
My guess, wiring harness break touching the tub. 😉

Stoves and Belling do 700cm ovens. The gas pipe to the hob could so easily be re routed anyhow.

ParticipantRe: Bosch WFF 2000 – not rinsing?
Any powder based detergent formulated for washing whites (it contains bleach). The packages are usually green or have a green top on the lid. (Liquid gels don’t contain bleach).
Similarly you can use a specific cleaning agent like Affresh or Dr Beckmann. 💡

When did you last do a high temperature ‘service wash’ with a bleach based detergent??
