    Re: Beko wmb 81241 LB

It’s made in Turkey so I wouldn’t be at all surprised. 😉

But, seriously…….4 yrs flogging and the motor brushes take a hell of a lot of wear. So now is the time to take a look at them OR call out a local repair person and get it fixed. 😀

If you shop smartly now you can pick one up, with free delivery, for just £550…….. 😀

It’s even got the sort of dampers you can fix should they fail. 😉

I saw one in Newbury last week, minus the screwdriver. Mind you he was parked in a rough area at the time.

It would not prevent other programne selections such as spin only. So yes there is definately another problem there somewhere. As to where? I’ve no clue and I would need my toolbox and test meter in order to investigate. Best of luck !

No wiring diagram available for this model (which is really handy) but the TOC that sits in a stirrup is NClosed and the one on the side is NOpen.

That 12yr old is still worth fixing in spite of the cost. Build quality superb and likely good for another 10 yrs. By which time you’ll be fed up with your kitchen and want all your laundry appliances in the utility room where they should be anyway!

Are you sure this is an AEG as the number stikes me as being Neff?

Neff do have such controls for the grill so if it were a Neff then I wouldn’t be too surprised by that.

Rubber door seal rubbing against the stainless drum is a possibility? Though when that occurs it’s usually a burning rubber smell.

Re: Samsung EcoBubble Washing Machine Help Please

The plumber is talking porkies, water pipes shouldn’t bang. If they do they should be secured to the wall correctly and the fixings evenly spaced, especially behind boarded panels/tiling.

That said, what you could do to improve the situation is to turn the stop cock that feeds the machine down. The typical blue lever gate valve needs the lever turning at least by 45 degrees to reduce the flow, thus reducing the likelyhood of your floppy pipes banging.

    🙂

Mains lead simply unplugs (like a kettle plug) from the back. The module can be lifted out once you remove the RH side panel.
