Re: Wanted Cannon 151 (ancientauto de-luxe gas cooker) gas p

They are called “Burner Caps” and may still be available BUT I do need the full model number to be sure (151 is not recognised 🙁 )

Also the’re usually are 3 different sized burners on Cannon hobs (Large, Medium and 2 Small – total 4) is that the case here as well?

Very likely, but firstly check that the clear tube from the inlet valve has no water in it? New valve (Part No 091051) available by emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk or direct from http://www.bshappliancecare.co.uk

I’ve never had probs with Interlocks on this model (yet) but the Control Unit does go pear-shaped 🙁 On the 2 occasions I’ve replaced them, both had burned board terminals/soldered plug in connectors!

Pull the Control Unit away and check the board side is the best way to confirm 😉

    Using this technique…..

What about the Rinse aid liquid spilling into the control panel?
The weight of the loose door just dangling from the wiring harness?
Salt water pouring out of the reservoir?
The motor falling out of its rubber mounts on reassembly?

Here is the earlier thread on the subject you were looking for Mark :-

Clearly the pump needs close attention AND the hoses to it and from it!

…….DEDICATION is the answer, but let that be our secret…OK? 🙂

Your analogies will serve you well by the way, except perhaps you may consider sparing the poor Labrador in favour of zapping a Cat as their electrical potential is lower!!!! :rotfl:

    Re: Hotpoint tdc62

Firstly check the filter is clear, the water tank is empty, the door is shut….If yes is the answer to all 3 then the machine needs expert attention (see below).

Could be a connection problem with the wiper contact?…TOC? etc etc….worth getting expert advise 😉
