Usually it can be replaced without the need of removing the oven, just the backplate 😉

    See my caution below ❗

Only because you are unique (no-one else gets the 3 star status on here, so treasure the knowledge).

I must explain though…..It was granted to you (John042) purely for your outstanding achievement dealing with those IN THE THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES :rotfl:

Wow! You hit the jackpot there razor!!! 🙄

This baby has 3 Modules and unless you have overlooked things like Door interlock, motor connections, heater etc etc you may have a problem?

As it’s an IMPORT then the 2 year guarantee is likely void also (probably?) but may be worth checking though????

You could always give Siemens ‘Tech Dept’ a bell on 0870 2426660 💡

Oh dear!…then it’s not the pump but the main bearings (The drum seal leaks and the inner bearing goes rusty as a result) Cost to get the Bearings & Seal replaced by someone can be up to £100 🙄

You will need a new FAN ELEMENT replacement 🙁

There are 3 variants of the model you have, therefore please provide the FULL model number to get the correct part. OR contact the link below for someone to fix it for you 💡

pinktransit wrote:How difficult are the bearings to replace?

    On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the hardest) I would say 11 🙁

Only because the effectiveness of bearing replacement on these machines is well below par. Poorly constructed machine where the drum shaft cannot be accessed or replaced often means a bearing replacement is little better than a bodge job!

If the screeching is the bearing that is…….? Have you checked the pump firstly???

As far I recall you can reinstate the Language format using the same button as when you set the time, it scrolls through about 4 options I think?

Of course it’s in the User Booklet this info but if you’ve lost it, then email Siemens for a copy:- mks-spares@bshg.com

If you replace the upper and lower sleeve to the top spray arm, that should solve the problem (Part Numbers are 91600275 & 91600276 ) available by emailing the details to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

On just this little island you and I call home there are in fact over 300yrs supply of coal left beneath our feet….untapped!

These natural resources are owned entirely (naturally) by the state and can be readily accessed at any time. Now, historically at least, extraction has proved very costly indeed, leading to the total decline in the coal industry.

However, government controlled scientists within goverment run laboratories are busily working (as I type) on an efficient method of extracting said supplies for the purpose of creating HYDROGEN FUEL CELLS for future generations 8)

Many world governments in a similar situation are onto the same idea, here for example is what New Zealand are up to:-

Spot on advice!……Better to use double-sided sticky tape (carpet fitting strength and not B&Q rubbish) and keep a roll in your van with a decent pair of scissors to cut out thin strips 😉

Yes, probably you’ve fitted them the wrong way round 💡

The one with the ‘Green Spot’ should be on the LEFT as you look at the fitting. 😉
