Errrr! This old machine doesn’t have a PCB :con:

Why not try advancing the timer to the end of the cycle or at least wait ’til is advances thru the dry cycle and turns off???

Lever off door seal retaining ring, remove door interlock screws and finally, removed soap drawer to reveal small screw in fascia panel, remove that screw then gently lower the front panel down and off!!!!

    AJR wrote:Are these thermostats?

    Yes they are 🙂

I recommend you replace both and they are as follows: Red Stat = 1242345708 (50/90deg stat) Grey Stat = 1240345809 (39/60deg stat).

Both can be ordered via emailing spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk.

To fit them, they lever gently out from those rubber grommets. Refitting requires using a smear of rubber sealant whilst pushing them into the grommet (bit tricky but there you go)

    Hope that helps?

Sadly access to the drain pump on this model is almost impossible without prior knowledge, TLC and expert knowledge at that. I therefore recommend you seek expert help via this link:

I have heated up the Qualtex Kits (TOC34, TOC39 & TOC40) and I can confirm they all contain resetting TOCs and not the ‘one shot’ type 🙁

I think a word in the ear to Qualtex may be in order :lesson:
