Are you sure that the “Start/Pause Button” LED doesn’t also flash at the same time?
Check your emails anyway. 😉

I don’t think you do at all Mark, really I don’t, your argument in defence of my comments are plausible enough, and I accept that. 🙂
Nevertheless I do not retract my conclusions and I cannot see any way forward for you in this regard…sorry and best of luck mate 😉

Please can I remind you guys to make sure folks post in the correct forums? Time and time again Joe Public posts a lot of stuff in the Public General Enquires instead of the relevant forums. So do please help put them in the correct slots eh? 😉

No need, it’s a fine machine after all. Just do take time to read the User Manual and carry out the necessary regular filter cleaning procedures etc etc. 😉

ParticipantRe: CREDA EXCEL T632CW tumble drier – not heating
Usually it’s simply the Thermostats that need replacing and not the element 😉
Often users turn the drier off before allowing the last 10 minutes ‘cool-down’ part of the cycle. Once you do that….it blows the thermostats out!

This is a typical case of too many experts spoiling the froth! :rotl:
Gordo had the problem over a week ago after all and I bet he just yanked the door open anyway 😆

Depressing the Anti-Bacterial Rinse Button allows your machine to do an extra rinse immediately after the ‘wash’ part of the cycle finishes.
It is important to note that once this button is depressed, not to interrupt the cycle (i.e open the door) as that will likely cause the lamp to flash and not reach its pre-set sanitization temperature. 😉

I would now contact Comet then as you have done all that could be expected in order to try to resolve the problem. I suspect that the cold water valve inside the machine is not shutting off as it should and needs replacing!

Probably you may have inadvertently connected the new Timer incorrectly? The terminal lay-out of the Invensys Timer is easy to make this mistake, the most common error is getting the two switchbanks (A & B) the wrong way round as the terminal numbers are the same on both 🙄

If the washing machine drain hose is coupled directly to the sink drain. You must ensure the hose is raised as high as possible to prevent water from the sink flowing back down the hose and into the machine!

Mark,
You have my great respect for your persistence, you really do! You never take “no” for an answer do you? Christ knows how you have got your washing done over the last 6 to 8 weeks or more while this problem with your clapped-out Zanussi has been going on????
Give it up mate, I told you weeks back anyway that ‘the 60 Hertz’ was your problem all along. Let me sleep easy in my bed tonight will you and tell me you have bought a new 110v American machine? (they’re heaps better than the Italian rubbish in your basement after all!)
PLEASE?

ParticipantRe: getting manuals or cds whitegoods
This subject needs some clarification overall and I am pleased you asked the question 🙂
A very very sore point for most of us here in the trade as many manufacturers and work providers (and I use the latter term somewhat loosely 😉 )restrict this vital information unless you are their ‘Official Agent’ in the first place. 🙁
So, where does that leave those independents (possibly that covers you eng14 ?). Well with not a lot in all honesty. You can get Spare Parts CD’s and DVD’s (that’s a fairly easy process) plus lots of wholesalers are gearing up big time within the Internet by providing an excellent choice of supplies and parts identification. So overall it is getting better. 🙂
Technical information being the biggest ‘bug bear’ and that is a tough call right now, but ‘us lot’ within UKW are working very hard to change that in the not too distant future. Therefore if you have any problems whatsoever, then do read all the postings both past and present first of all as the subject that bothers you may well have been answered long ago and is in there somewhere. PLEASE ALSO USE THE “SEARCH” FACILITY! That is good advice to those new to this Website 😉
Meanwhile….do please keep in touch and keep posting your questions AND answers so others can gain benefit!
