Hmmmmmmm 🙄
dezmaas wrote:Should I also add extra rinse aid? Is this required?
You’ve answered your own question here and of course you should. Rinse Aid allows the water to drain of your crocks and cutlery more easily as it is designed to reduce the density of the water.
Thus at the very last minute of the final rinse the machine adds the Rinse Aid solution to the water, the water ‘gets wetter’ and therefore runs off the crocks as if by magic…!
Oh! and don’t bother opening the door when the programme has finished either as it will be unnecessary 😀

ParticipantRe: BOSCH SGS5602GB/47 DISHWASHER
The model number does does not compute Mike, but I guess you need to carry out all the usual tests and inspections to be sure.
Normally flooded base, element down to earth etc will give this type of error display anyway. 😕

Click on the Repairs @ link I gave you earlier for a direct answer from your local repairman 😉

ParticipantRe: Bosch SPS5122 filling with clean water after cycle
On this model I believe they have a Water Inlet Valve/Aquastop that is remote from the machine and connects directly to the Stop-cock. If you turn off the water supply and disconnect this device from the stop-cock the water should cease to enter the machine. Thus requiring replacement of the Valve/Aquastop Unit.
What is the FD number of your machine I wonder?

Left and Right Hinges?… :con:
Or do you mean drum support springs as they differ left and right (also need date code to identify correct series for these springs) But it only has one door hinge?

chris547 wrote:In the centre of the white panel is a hole and this has an up and down arrow and a rotate arrow.
That is there only for integrated models that allows you to raise and lower the rear feet when installing or removing from kitchen furniture, and doesn’t give access to the pump whatsoever!
chris547 wrote:I might be able to get a socket onto the impeller by working in the sump that holds the cylindrical filter in the centre of the base.
Sorry no access from there either, it’s a strip-down for the most part on these babies 🙁

ParticipantRe: BOSCH Dishwasher not pumping out water. SRS43AO2GB/14
These slimline machines are very inaccessible for even us experts to tackle. The drain pump can just be accessed after removing the front plate as it has a twist on twist off bayonet type fixing to the sump moulding.
Full access to components in the base can only be achieved after fully dismantling the machine and I seriously advise seeking professional help.

Excellent response gentlemen
Dave, the comment was my off-hand approach into getting a response, it in all honestly was not aimed at anyone, certainly not you! I apologise if anyone here took offence at my uncouth phraseology 😳
I really appreciate your comments so far, I have learned a lot from it and a better understanding as to the position most of us find ourselves at this moment in time.
I still cannot figure the P&G thing but I am very much looking forward to Ken, Kevin and Daves presentation in September. They know what it’s at so that must be good for us all. Ken has been itching for months to tell us but as Sean points out about the embrionic stages and all that, it would be less that wise until the time is right.
We shall just have to wait and see 😀

Seamy wrote:is ther a turbidy sensor or summit in this machine that senses that water is still dirty??
Yes their is and it’s a bit tricky to take it out of the heater box and clean too. Assuming the customer has used salt and/or set the water softener correctly all the while and that the pipework is clear (take the top spray tubing off at the heaterbox to check for dishwasher tablet wrappers jammed and stuff like that).
If all looks OK then suggest the customer uses dishwasher cleaner for a while to clear the gunge out from that heater box/infrared sensor

ParticipantRe: Am I doing it wrong?
Are all you guys running a business or counselling for the samaritans I wonder? If a customer phones up for a quote for fitting a thingamibob ugamiflip and it’s the type of work you normally undertake, why the reluctance to give an appraisal based on your own pricing?
If I phone my local garage and ask how much to change the cam belt on my motor, they’re not going to ask me “How come you want a cam belt?” are they ❓
“Third party repairs?”…”Undercutting your local competitors?” smacks of the moral high ground of the perfect world, not the real one 🙄Martin

Phidom wrote:Has anyone managed to register for this site yet?
Yes indeed I did a while back now. Once you get email confirmation using your Wolseley account number and password it should be straightforward enough, except that if you use Internet Explorer as a browser you need to set-up access permission for their site to be added to your PC (they usually show you how thats done in their info pack)
Best of luck!

Doesn’t sound like Neff to me either :con:
Are these buttons on top of the door (fully integrated) or at the front? (semi integrated).
Besides…exactly what is the problem here?

ParticipantRe: Ariston Margerita AWD12 8 flashes
Its a water level protection error that relates to the heater control. Which means either/or the water level switch is faulty OR the main Control Module has gone belly up 🙁
Either way you’re in for an expense to get it sorted in all honesty. 😥
I would take the easier option at this stage and check out the water level system. Sadly we in the trade cannot be more specific, can only advise, it’s to safeguard the likelyhood of liability and all that…sorry!
The only advise I can give is to check out the problem using a local independent engineer. We may have just such a person to help you by clicking on this link:Repairs@
