I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at that publication, so I compromised with a huff and grin instead. 😕
I’ve been living on food and drink out of my microwave now since 1985 so based on that load of spiel my time is up 🙁

Heating human milk ❓ …..never used that method, normally comes out warm enough at source from my recollection :rotfl:
Anybody wanna buy a microwave?…one careful owner!…shall we start the bidding at 10 quid?….come on!

It may be you will need a new oven element and/or an oven thermostat fitting. We may have someone in your area to advise you further by clicking on the link below. Worst case scenario cost wise to replace both likely to be under £100 I would imagine 🙂

The volume in regular chargeable work is now in rapid decline as you can no doubt testify Simon 🙁 It is getting worse year by year for me also to a point where I am repairing appliances now that I would have never bothered fixing 2 years ago. I’ve started doing oven repairs again (something I stopped doing 6 years ago ‘cos of the hastle) to help with the cash flow 🙁
I’m doing ‘Letting Agency’ work in filthy bedsitland and university campus’s, that helps but I wouldn’t have dreamt of needing that sort of work in order to bolster the cashflow.
Had to deregister VAT not only because of being well below the current threshold but in order to compete with the opposition on labour (callout)rates. I make it up on the spares of course but just last week (bad bad week being Easter) I only fitted 2 pumps a TOC Kit and a Shock Absorber, so no big stash of cash that week for me. 🙄
So thanks to the £179 Zanussi and all that follows such marketing junk, the prospects are grim at best. I’m working on setting up a little sideline business to get me out of this rut, but in order to buy the plant I need I’ve got to press on another year or two at this yet. So I must try to maintain my position and hope the phone keeps ringing all the while (hoping that its a customer rather than a Letting Agent* :rotfl: )

Was it bought in the UK? Because it’s strange a 9 year old machine is not listed on the current UK information unless it wasn’t intended for the UK market in the first place 💡

ParticipantRe: Indesit Semi Int’ D’W door stuck
Yes indeed it is the door handle/latch assy that is the fault (usually). Advise your customer first at the action required in order to access this fault, so that you cover yourself against damage charges etc 😉
It’s their problem and not yours if further damage is created, make them aware thats all

ParticipantRe: neff s4431b0gb/12 problem
Insufficient water in the machine is the likely cause of this one. The water inlet pressure system and hose to tub need stripping out and cleaning

Thanks for your help so far guys. I really did suspect this too, especially in that when I disconnected the damper from the cabinet, the noise ceased. Refitted the damper to the cabinet mount and the noise returns BUT I swear to god the noise comes from the darned drum end of the damper :con:
The damper bracket on the cabinet spot weld is as solid as the Eiffel Tower and no noise, vibration or anything comes from it… honest 🙄
…I’m stumped
and my customer well miffed as it has cost him several quid so far for nowt 👿

Is or was this dryer sold in the UK?
.. ‘Cos you mentioned “Heater” and “Pump” which don’t relate to a UK produced product :con:

Seamy wrote: do i have to actually break it out to get door open or is there a simple way??
Usually it is the door latch pin mounting that breaks and then locks. I’m afraid a little friendly force is needed to open the door 🙁
And the door latch assy that is already broken, will be the only damage caused…hopefully 😀
