I think (we experts) are somewhat guilty of saying the same thing repeatedly here 😕
But I am intrigued about the 330 mls of water, I’ve never tried that one before? If the pump chamber is already flooded, as we suspect, wouldn’t that extra half pint simply spill out onto the floor?
Have a mop handy Kirk just in case 😉

Sorry Ian but I have no wiring diagram for that type of timer or can find any reference to it being modified either, sorry 🙁

A thin red wire with plastic end
A thick red wire
2 wires joined together (brown and white)One red (that comes from the Thermostat) goes to Terminal 4B
The other red (that comes from the Motor) goes to Terminal 2B
The brown/white goes to Terminal ACheck carefully those red wires now! 😉

Ian,
Can you supply us with the 8 digit ‘type’ number of your machine? I think it should start with the number 3???????. Usually on a label on the back near the lid. Better still, give us all the numbers 💡

ParticipantRe: What’s the nicest things customers say or do?
A lady customer was cooking lunch for herself and her husband. I happened to say “Oh! that smells good, I feel hungry now!” Next thing I know she’s set a place for me at the table has served up a plate full of Stew & dumplings, and I ate a hearty meal. (Better than the muck the wife dishes me up back home at least :rotfl: )

ParticipantRe: Bosch Exxcel dryer – wall venting advice
Ronnie,
It’s clearly a fault with the heating element then or more usually one of the thermostats on the heating element I expect 😉

Then I am not sure, usually if there was a problem where the filter light came on, the heater would shut down 😕 Do just check the water container is empty, the filter is clean, no build-up of fluff in the door cavity behind the lint filter and that the air inlet (the grill on the bottom r/h/side) it not restricted in any way.

Oh no, this is a different problem I expect 🙁 Most likely your machine is not heating at all or is it? That would make the filter light come on if it wasn’t!
Do please give us the MODEL No to help further:?????

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint Aquarius Condenser Dryer
Just slide it out and flush it clean possibly using a garden pressure hose if its really badly fluffed up?
To avoid cleaning it in future, make sure you clean the lint filter in the door every dry cycle!

ParticipantRe: Hotpoint T/Dryer TDL34 – No AutoDry
I think it may well indeed be associated to one of those exhaust thermostats? Not got a wiring diagram for that model to know which one is which but check their continuity on both to be sure their OK 😉

Crikey! How very unfortunate for both of you. 🙁 Anyway I hope your dishwasher performs OK now (I wonder why he changed the Module though :con:)
Keep us posted 😀

ParticipantRe: Fitting belt on Zanussi Dryer
As previously implied, you must be routing the belt around the tensioner pulley incorrectly (‘cos the belt you have got is correct) :con:
From memory as you look from the back the belt comes from the L/H/side of the drum, down and around the motor pulley, up over the tensioner pulley( clockwise) and away to the drum again on the other side…..??
