If your machine has a metal rear drum backplate then you will need the gasket replacement part no: C00103637.

If the backplate is plastic then its part no: C00040897, both available direct from Indesit spares dept 0870 9077077 😀

    Lizzie,

Check that the top and bottom spray arms are not blocked and free to rotate (especially ensure top spray arm doesn’t foul crocks & cutlery)

Clean filters thoroughly and if you still have a problem get back to us but please supply the full model number 😉

Re: Whats the most annoying thing customers do?

You arrive at a call, customer says its not spinning 🙁 she leaves you to get on and fix it 😀 Half an hour later you have sorted it, stuck new brushes in, put it back and its spinning away merrily

….customer dashes into the kitchen and says… “Did you manage to find out what was wrong with it then?” :con:

… John Cleese once said “…were you born a genius or do you work for The Ministry of Stating the Bl**ding Obvious?” :lol2:

If only we had the tech info from Indesit eh? …None of us would need to ask the questions in the first place 🙁

    Dan,

A little patience is called for here after all you’re well in front having them agree a replacement. 😀

It is always the suppling retailer that has a direct responsibility to you the consumer and NOT the manufacturer!

The logistics of dealing with what appears to you as a simple replacement often is not quite so easy for any manufacturer, and indeed is a very costly transaction for them 🙄

I guess we will never be sure 🙁 But I am 95{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain if you have the same fault, then the element is the likely cause.(Especially if you haven’t been putting salt in the softener) Time to call in an engineer…see our repairs@ for a local contact.

    Mowerman,

Then its likely the circuit board is the problem 😕

The live supply comes from the door switch to the circuit board the through the exhaust stat before it reaches the element. Therefore by that reckoning, if you have no live feed to the exhaust stat yet there is to the circuit board, that confirms it!!!
