Tuesday was so manic on UKW I never even spotted Kens post until you mentioned it today Richard. I often find that sitting on the UKW Homepage monitoring the ‘Last 20 posts’, when its busy and I don’t watch out, its lost forever 🙁

Anyway, to the point…Publishing Labour Rates? Of course why the hell not

kwatt wrote:“The maximum single call labour rate allowed to be charged by companies using this system is £XX for total labour on the call. Many members in most areas will charge substantially less than this rate but it will vary due to differences in geographical areas (for example, London is more expensive than Birmingham) and costs to service those locations. Your repairer will adise of their charges when they contact you.”

Couldn’t have put it better myself!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah! It’s just location, location, location 🙁

Their are two vunerable areas to check on this range of machine, namely around the salt cap AND lift the drain filter and check around the recess especially in the corners 🙂

Haven’t yet tried Penguin45’s “Petro Patch Solution” but that does sound a better job. If it can stop petroleum leaks it’s sure to stop a water leak 8)

Just to update the thread, It was the Timer that was faulty (Part No 1702509) in this case.

Specifically, contact B2 on Copreci made Timer that feeds the Front Stat (Black/White lead) was open circuit (No sign of burning either 😕 )

Spares suppliers are part of the furniture now, pin stripped suits and filofaxes all plying for our business. They are not our problem, so there is little we can learn from them.

Fill the meeting with the likes of Brian Cresswell and others like him in a similar position 😈

Spares! I’ve got spares!…Give us TECHNICAL INFO instead ❗

    Paul,

Great post, very interesting. I will copy that URL and put something up in the public forums somehow, and some time soon to no doubt dispell any confusion that is rife at the moment. 😀

    Thanks

I’m pleased you at least were’nt upset at yet another of my negative responses to ideas you throw up (sorry – in :)) . Look at it more as my attempts in injecting a little reality to the situation perhaps. 8)

Get some more reviews in there, tell it like it is (I know many of you won’t slag of a Diplomat or Hygena for obvious reasons 😉 ) Lets give the big boys hell that way. Do a review on a Hoover Dryer? Now there’s a laugh :rotfl: Tell ’em how much a replacement Drum is for one too don’t forget :rotl:
