    Re: electric oven installation

    Ezman,

Have you an existing 60amp Cookerbox on the wall or are you looking for an electrician to provide a supply from your Consumer Unit?

Hello all wrote:My dad has sent me to look up wire diagrams for a Bosch WTA 2000 dryer hope you can help

No wiring diagrams available to the general public I’m afraid (for obvious safety reasons) BUT…what’s the problem, maybe we can help? 🙂

    Re: Connect don’t connect 🙁

Still waiting to resolve these issues I have with Connect (and I thought those guys read UKW pages, obviously not)

However, Steve Large from ELECTRUE rang me today to see if “he could do anything for me?” (Red rag to a bull time 😈 ) and I have forwarded those several unanswered emails from Connect to him.

Funny how Electrue are seperate from Connect and one doesn’t know what the other is doing 🙄

I can’t figure it out, maybe they can this time ❓

    Michael,

We would be curious to know what replacement you have chosen? And what factor/s made you choose that machine?

Oh I get the point alright, I just don’t see what we can achieve here other than a small group shouting… “These motors cost £10 to produce yet they charge us £100 for them!”….so what?

Bearing in mind we are not wielding a big stick here, not the lions roar yet. We’re not even likely to expose some sort of scandal or hidden agenda. “Merloni are ripping us off and killing our trade!” …who gives a shite?

Far better we should concentrate on getting our own house in order first. By getting more than our present 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} share of the repairers on our side. Joe Public really doesn’t have any concerns in this area either, they vote with their feet everytime. It would be far better that more of us wrote more “Product Reviews” , now that does get Joe Public’s interest if thats your aim.

Hands up those here that have bothered to do that simple task?

When manufacturers see a drop in sales and can associate our comments as partly the reason for it, then and only then can we wield that big stick!

    Coen,

That error usualy indicates either too much detergent used OR the drain filter being blocked 😉

Now what’s he at this time :con: Spares prices this time 😯

I’ve been ramping on about rip-off Merloni prices lately but what’s the plan this time, DTi? really? Manufacturers will always fight their corner and justify their policies to any external auditors, what chance is half a dozen of us moaning about the cost of Modules going to make 😕

    rc,

Sadly no! There is no spare part listing for the 4 screws and spacers unfortuneately. Try phoning Hotpoint Spares Dept and ask if they can help (Yes Hotpoint same firm as Ariston- tel: 0870 9066066)

Ah! that’s a thought….Look carefully at the lower spray arm, to make sure it hasn’t been knocked and that the central column is fully clipped to the its main body 😉

Also if you have a ‘Torz’ screwdriver handy, remove the top spray arm connection near the base filter unit and check to see if the spout leading to that top spray arm ducting is not blocked 8)

    Could be….!
