The water impeller inside the filling matrix might well be the problem. It’s all part of the matrix so the whole thing would need replacing.

No probs Soulman, pleased you sorted it finally. Burnt out motor windings are usually a result of hard usage especially so if you do wash load after wash load without allowing the motor to cool down. Not always possible I know but spreading ‘washday’ throughout the week eases the strain on the motor.

Tell me Danny, why would you wish to bypass the oven timer in spite of being advised that the fault may lie elsewhere?

Bottom element failure? You’ll need to isolate the power and take a look. Or contact your local repair company.

Yes it is well worth repairing as it likely as not only requires new motor brushes fitting. Your local repair person can sort it quickly for you.

Can’t help you with which is the TOC pins but you’ve got continuity on all 6 so that seems OK to my way of thinking. But what about the motor plug? Are the wires between the module plug and motor OK or has one wire got broken?

It could be the main thermal fuse located on the side of the oven cavity?

They should just pull off though they are a snap lock fit so you may also need 163281 as well.

All parts for these dryers are cheap. Whatever is at fault it is well worth fixing IMHO.

    Tumble dryer keeps tripping.

Most common fault is the thermal cut out behind the circular heating element. Checking it involves dismantling the back panel and removing element. Be sure to note where all the wires connect to what before dismantling. We cannot help you if you don’t help yourself on that one.

Very possibly yes but if the insulation is insufficient enough not to trigger the trip it could still compromise the electronics and cause no spin errors as well as others. Emphasis on the word “could”. 😉

Yes indeed but it’s not a “signal” in any sense of the word but a feed monitoring current flow. Or, to put it more simply, it’s in series with the element. So a connection between the two would be suspect.

    Re: WF860P NOT SPINNING

What Tim is so eloquently trying to explain, is that if the heater has an insulation leak to earth, that could be the reason for the no spin fault. Disconnecting the heater would however interrupt the self checking electronics and therefore not “prove anything” as Tim puts it. So you need to check the electrical integrity of the heater using an insulation tester. Or, the more expensive option would be to throw in a new heater. And take a punt as it were.

    😉
