    Bosch sps40c12gb check water light

Just to clarify : I refer to the main circulating pump NOT the drain pump.

I take it the condenser is fluff free? The NTC at the top of the condenser OK?

There’s an internal leak somewhere that you’ll need to locate the source. Usual suspects are the cabinet lining, the main circulating pump and internal hose couplings. And no, a service manual is not available.

Avoid using the ‘extra dry’ setting just in case. 😀

    Help needed urgently bearings

Even buying cheap these days is not too much of a gamble. Statistically only 19{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of washing machines fail in the first 6 years (according to Which?). The current buying trend is for cheaper appliances thus lessening the risk of financial loss should they fail. It is proved to be a nonsense that paying more for the so called better brands has any advantage whatsoever. This failure rate remains exactly the same. The cheapo washer you bought may well outlast one at twice the price 81{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time, not bad odds really.

I wouldn’t mind betting you’re not using salt yet live in a hard water area then?

Dop’s quite frustrated as he’s CAPS LOCKED, fear not Dop we will help. How’s the exhaust TOC looking? Is the vent outside OK?

    Tks

I’m not quite sure, though it is quite possible I would think. It gets the high spin speed through an extra field coil tapping. So it’s either fitted the wrong way round, or the motor plug lead for that circuit has broken, or the module on the base has thrown a wobbly.

Is the armature commutator nice and clean with no raised or discoloured copper segments? (Very important to double check)

    Should we Refund

No, it’s a special order contract demanded by the customer. They have no right to a refund as a result. If you can accept and return the item from whence it came you can offer a full refund less your ‘handling charge’ if you so choose.

Re: Bosch WFT2800GB /13 no fast spin after brush change

Did you make sure you fitted the stator in the correct way around?
What was the part number of the new brush end housing? (It should be 00496876)
Finally, if the commutator segments in places are an uneven colour chances are the armature is knackered and only a new motor will cure. I suspect the latter TBH. 🙁

The recirculating pump is seriously expensive for what it is and from your comments doesn’t sound hopeful. If you’ve been using this machine without salt in a hard water area then your problem just got worse.

The main control unit is at fault ( i.e the heater relay on the PCB is stuck on). If you are a whiz with soldering and electronics then this fault is right up your alleyway. If not then a new control board is quite an expense to consider.

Matrix is a simple fix. Control unit very costly in comparison.
