    Ise filter rattle no objects

Not really short of taking the pump right out. Video only by YouTube link. Besides we get the idea about the noise you describe and only closer intervention will find the problem.

Circulating pump, main control board, dispenser solenoid, heater diverter motor…….(that’s enough for now). Let’s know what you found.

The same advice holds from the earlier protracted comments. Though it’s worth summarising that errors of this nature hold no clear cut answer. You have to unplug from power, remove panels and find the source. Using a meter to locate electrical faults is a vital tool. It’s an elderly machine so the main pump and heater are primary areas to look.

No secret with error codes in these after the 4 button ‘service mode’ “thing”.
    They are:
Door open + On/Off LED means evaporator NTC failure.
Temperature alarm + On/Off LED means the ambient NTC has failed.
No fault detected if just the On/Off LED flashes.

    Alternative to a van.

Snow? We don’t get it down here to bother over winter tyres and locking diffs, hell no! Global warming will ensure we have the mildest winter on record, to hell with what El Niño might do.

Take a closer look with a torch.

The relay an integral part of the main power board. The dryer heater is on the top of the tub!

Dragging it out is no big deal and might just be your only option in trying to identify it.

    Re: Alternative to a van.

Stick to a van Chris, those off-roaders are no alternative when shifting and loading machines on and off. You could go for an estate car but they can’t handle much weight. Vans are the way forward in this trade, accept no alternative.

FH is a fill fault so changing the valve may be your best option as the fault is intermittent.

Probably the same make as the separate hob? If you unscrew the oven from the cabinet the makers label might also be on the back?

How’s the NTC at the bottom of the condenser?

You might well be right on the circulating pump bearings. Sadly though you will need to buy a complete motor/heater unit or a pair of ear muffs! 🙁

Another hunch to put forward here is that perhaps neither Richard or his customer were aware of the warranty period.

I take it you have deactivated the Child Lock? (Press and hold start button for 5 secs)
