Buy Bosch/Neff/Siemens stuff directly from BSH and cut out the money grabbing, sticks in their mark up, useless middleman that Connect is.

It seems the connections to the motor are good otherwise it would come up with an error code. So I’m thinking the motor is drawing too much current. The effect of that would be that the PCB is thinking the load is unbalanced and continually tries to redistribute the clothes. Finger pointing at the motor is my guess.

I believe this machine has a fixed baseplate so access to the pump only possible via front panel removal. 🙁

Probably the out of balance (OOB) circuitry within the main module (PCB). If the motor is drawing too much current or the drum unusually stiff to turn, they too could cause the spin fault you describe.

You are kidding me? You mean to say that the super Eco washer/dryer I have just bought and thrown in the back of my 2015 VW diesel motor doesn’t perform what the label on it states?

I’m gonna sue fur com pen sashun !!!

Try replacing the reed switch (part no: 00611317) as I think that may be at fault.

But Madmac you miss the whole point of Miele’s concept. They keep it all ‘in house’ and from the inside their replacement parts costs are not an issue. You’re on the outside looking in don’t forget. They have got it right, they will be around for a long time yet.

Yes Ken I keep up to speed and so do most of my posts. I gave up on recons years back but I thought the news would brighten up George’s (Allsorts) day anyway.

And we have any good number of refugees coming into our numbers so they will revel in the thoughts of housing complete with appliances. 😉

Most makes drums are wafer thin these days and your balls banging around in these will quickly bash the hell out of them. Especially so those with honeycomb drums. Refrain from even thinking of putting your balls in the washer is my advice. 😉

Our Don from Devon is a demon on domestics. So he will best advise you on which is the better choice of machine outside of Miele. Though be warned, there ain’t much to choose from.

Sadly not Ken. Matron says if she hears any load noises at all coming from my room I will no longer be allowed to join the others on their weekly mystery minibus tour, or join in on Monday Bingo nights.

Happy days, long since passed. 🙁

    Re: Revisiting good old Vinyl.

I sold all my albums including Tubular Bells, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Help, Don’t Shoot I’m Only the Piano Player etc etc last year on eBay….I got a small fortune as bidders were falling over themselves to buy…..Some dealer in Newcastle bought them having paid Yodel to collect them. I sold my sound system with my house when we moved out last April.

I’m feeling a little sad now though, Alex re-ignited my sentimentality….. Nah, the 27,000 or so tracks on my MP3 will never collect nearly so much dust.

Simple answer : No. 10 yr guarantee an exclusive of Miele. Fast spin speeds mean fast fast bearing failure rates and many makes and models have sealed drums that end up on scrap heap in less than 5 yrs. If your budget is good stick with Miele.

ISE went to the wall a good while back by the way. Good job your hunch held out on that one !

    Re: Indesit IDC75UK Drive Belt

It’s a stretch belt and without the special trade tool to fit it then it is a challenge. All sorts of cranky tips are given on various web sites and YouTube. Crow bars and socket sets, long screwdrivers and car wheel nut wrenches have all had good reviews by those that have succeeded without too much blood loss. All in the name of improvisation. Good luck whatever you use. 😀
