Sister in law belts falling off are a common problem these days. 😉

The pulley is likely to be worn and her new belt less likely to fall if you replace her pulley too. 😀

    Re: Bosch drum lifters

Your friend perhaps could answer that. If screws were used to fix them in, the old ones will be threaded. Through the sump hose aperture wouldn’t allow access to both screws though. No, I figure they just clip in. Cr&p machine from Bosch though they are. Using screws would be too costly for them. 😉

Re: Hoover PE235 drum obstruction – how do I remove a paddle

The arms of the spigot corrode and crack. When one of the three cracks the stainless tub is unsupported in that area and consequently the tub goes oval shaped enough to run against the drum at the front. All very common, all very tragic and all not worth bothering with when they go, 🙁

Under a tenner on the Interweb for cheap pattern brushes. A few minutes of your time to fit, assuming you have good electro/mechanical knowledge and a good set of tools.

Oh dear, the drum support spigot has failed. Typical Candy throw away scenario. Go Beko next time, they are far better in that price range overall.

Re: Dishwasher powder in the salt reservoir – what happens?

Very much so! Do not use the machine until you’ve got it all out. Scoop it out or flush it out or better still wet vac it out!

You’ve probably accidentally set the Child Lock? Press and hold the start button for 5+ seconds to disengage.

Then simply attach the end of the drain hose onto the water tap and blast the bit of rubber flap valve back into the dishwasher tub! 😀
