The very low pressure is likely to be the problem. Or the hot fill hose could be kinked behind the machine. Or the hot inlet valve either faulty or its fine mesh filter blocked. Sadly it’s got to come out from where it sits in order to investigate further. 🙁

“Black residue” is usually carbon dust from the motor brushes. It gets everywhere especially if the brushes have ever been changed in the past with non genuine brushes.

They are prone to corrosion, so you may have to remove the oven to access and sort the fixings via removal of the outer casing?

Then maybe part fill a mug with cold water and put it on high for 30seconds. If it successfully heats the water then all is well.

The motor armature has expired. Either a new motor or time to invest in new machine.

Remove left hand side panel. It’s located in the water inlet matrix.

It’s just a bog standard dryer. NTC a common failing as I’m sure you’ve done dozens in the past. Part no: 00613753. Cheap as chips to have a couple in the van.

All are simple for anyone, even a “delivery guy” to connect up. No plumber required.

Your connection is fine. The water inlet is an anti flood device fed electrically by the dishwasher.
