Not a costly fix at all. Call your local repairer and ask how much it would cost to change the brushes is your best bet. 😀

It’s the usual ‘Start/Pause + 1st Option button then rotate selector to 10th position for ‘last error code’. Then it’s the red LED gives the first error code number, the green LED the second. (Error codes shown in the Known Error Codes thread.)

The only possible option your son could take in this business is to work for the likes of Indesit or Candy. He’ll get the training he needs but the money is poor and the pressure enormous. Other than that the prospects ain’t great in 2015.

Once you’ve unscrewed the internal connections inside the tub the whole assembly just lifts/unhooks from the side frame, up and clear.

Top centre is the “drainage vent valve” and it does look seriously gunged up. Not sure if it is possible to access to clean? I doubt it. We in the trade normally stick in a new fill/drain matrix. Saves messing with it. 😉

Unless the incorrect thermostat or heating element have been fitted I cannot figure it either? (Do note that you usually have to allow the oven thermostat too ‘cycle’ on and off up to 3 times before the ideal temperature is maintained)

Sorry, my mistake as your model has a all plastic subframe. But nonetheless that must be flooded and needs draining off. Something within is leaking cause the base to flood and trip the anti flood device. Access via front plinth removal.

There’s water in the base, forget the fill matrix and remove the metal base cover instead.
