    safety of induction hobs?

Most domestic induction hobs operate in the 700KHz frequency band allocation and could radiate spurious emissions out if their designated frequency. So it would be advisable to be cautious toward high energy devices such and microwave ovens and induction hobs when wearing a pacemaker.

The price of induction hobs has plummeted in recent years and likewise the quality of many are questionable at best. Safety therefore may well be compromised especially the RFI/RMI shielding creating co-channel interference toward other frequency dependent devices.

    Avoid…!

The Start-Pause LED is NOT part of the error diagnostics and should be ignored. Try entering the full diagnostics procedure (EMW2000 series) for last error recorded. (The usual 1st option, Start and Reset buttons)

Oh yes I did that once on a Neff W/Dryer. Customer phoned next day saying her machine was glowing underneath when she went in the utility room in the dark…Oooops!

Sale or return has always worked within the grocery (proverbial corner shop) trade. No reason why white goods shouldn’t adopt the same trading terms with suppliers.

    Well for you Simon!

Re: Bosch washing machine not rinsing properly

Hmm? Well it’s a pretty basic machine with no option for addition deep rinses. I trust you don’t use the ‘Speed Perfect’ as that is best avoided anyway considering anyone affected by eczema. I can’t offer a definitive answer to your problem as it appears most options have been covered, sorry. 🙁

Cable tie belt to main pulley and hook other end on motor then slowly rotate drum until belt on then cut the cable tie off.

    Power unplugged first !!! :zap:

It does look like the PCB is main suspect.

Hard water or soft water area?
    What detergent are you using?
    Is the drain filter clear?
If it uses a shared drain outlet, is that clear?
Please try to answer all questions as usually it is user error associated and NOT a design fault with the machine.

    Re: Dangerous fridges

There are calls for all fridges and fridge freezers to have metal back panels and not exposed foam or foam covered with foil. In fire retardant tests those with metal back panels are far more flame resistant.

Your observations spot on except for the 85deg stat in that it does isolate the heater to prevent boiling. Go buy the 65stat I gave you the part number of and a new 85 safety stat and rubber grommet and you’re all set! 😀
