ParticipantRe: Candy GOC218 condenser drier stops during cycle.
It could be the relay unit (91201247) playing up maybe?

OK, well first I must admit I don’t venture anywhere near Chinese dishwashers but one thought crossed my mind…..it might be the wiring harness inside the door shorting out? Smoke would enter the tub from below the door I would imagine. 💡

Pardon my interruption, but when you say “mains fuse blew” do you refer to an actual wire fuse or an RCD/MCB trip switch?

ParticipantRe: Washing machine wont work after a power cut.
Time to remove the power board and check for blown interlock triac or some such. Power cut may be associated to a power surge? ( If location out in the sticks with overhead power cables – very likely scenario)

Remove the drain sieve and unclip the grey plastic pump cover. Carefully check around the pump impeller for something stuck in there. Use a torch for a clearer view. (Beware in case broken glass or other sharp objects in there.)

Possibly 25+ models in that range. What’s the problem with it anyway?

On the assumption you have checked the motor. That the carbons brushes and connections to the motor are OK? Then you might want to check the speed control module?

The Anti Crease/End LED gives the error code. Simply count the flashes between the longer pause for the code number.

Oh yes, for sure. 🙁

ParticipantRe: Bendix BIW 100
In that case maybe best check the sump hose (between tub and pump) is not blocked (sock or hankie?). Or, if it shares the sink drain, check the drain spigot is not blocked?
