That IS the “thermal fuse” (aka Thermal Overload Cutout 😉 )

ParticipantRe: Bosch washers not resetting after F21 error
Have you tried the ‘Native American rain dance’ whilst touching the relevant knobs? That should clear it 😈

No ‘local independent’ is likely to stock them so 169 quid at Currys….Go for it

ParticipantRe: Neff Dishwasher Leak – strange place?
Common fault due to the plastic base warping under high temperature washes. The seal between the stainless tank and the plastic tub is not available as a spare part and only using glue/sealant as a bodge fix is the only solution.
The plastic base is available as a spare part however but involves a major strip down to install.
An altogether rubbish machine it has to be said 🙁

A squirt of oil on the fan motor bearings, end of problem 9 times out of 10 😉

ParticipantRe: Can’t pull out cutlery tray on new NEFF DW
Two possible ways of releasing the cutlery drawer:
Get a very long stick/cane or some such to lift the spray nozzle as you slide out the drawer?
Remove the top basket to access the drawer from underneath and unhook it that way?
Your photo appears to show that the top spray nozzle somehow has got unclipped as it should be flush with the roof of the stainless tub. Sadly in order to deal with that the drawer has to be removed.
Final option, contact Neff to get them to sort it as it is under warranty.

If it is brown in colour then very likely it is just staining from an adjacent vent that caused it. A blackened burn mark would indicate something electrical in the immediate vacinity fused at some point.

ParticipantRe: Which Smeg Oven is this
It matters little as you can buy a standard oven sealing gasket (they are standard after all) from anywhere including this website’s own store. 😀

ParticipantRe: Zanussi WJD 1457 w washer/dryer
It should not fill AT ALL!
It is blocked clearly.

ParticipantRe: Neff Dishwasher
It is likely to be one of the following:
The pump is worn out and needs replacing.
The non-return valve, that sits between the pump chamber and the drain hose coupling, is blocked/jammed.
The drain hose has been extended beyond its normal length or terminates above recommended height.
If attached to sink waste that could be blocked.
…..or the pump cover isn’t seated properly.
It’s got to one of the above 😉
