But if you remove the heater feed the electronics can’t self check but instead through up erroneous codes I’m guessing. Change the heater and all will be tickerty boo (cough) fingers crossed 🙂

Stick with a dual fuel appliance is your best option then. And if/when the power goes out at least you’ve got the gas to cook with

Good point Dave and I would think it likely it would. Though it would depend on the TOC’s location? Even so there must be one and it needs locating to be sure.

The condenser chamber should not fill with water so therefore it is blocked with fluff at the bottom, needs clearing out !

Brown dots could be rust spots. Is it noisy when it spins? Clapped out drum bearings maybe?

Why are you trying to source a selector switch when it may not be needed? Have you located that TOC yet?

When this fault occurs will it not drain out using the program reset function?

It doesn’t look like it does have a chip, just relay control board. But it stopping 5 mins or so before it should makes me think that that point of the cycle is the cool down period of which a relay may be at fault?

The resolution of those photos are shockingly bad. But from what I’ve read so far it seems the fault must lie with the TOC and in the fuzzy picture it is likely to be located close to the oven lamp holder I would think?

Without fear of over thinking the possibilities at this stage, wouldn’t it be best to first check the state of the top oven element/s?

As is often the case, an earth leak can create all hell with the electronic controls.

Have you meggered the appliance John?

The flow meter could be sticking (located on the metering tank on the L H side) or may just simply be a blocked flow filter on the water inlet valve (aka aquastop)

    Re: Water filled weights?

…….but to be serious for a moment 😉 the whole point of this bo!!0cks is ‘saving weight in transit’. But there has been no emphasis on VOLUME in all this media tripe.

It takes one articulated truck to carry 70 cubic metres of polystyrene blocks the same as 70 cubic metres of washing machines. The payload greater, granted, but the saving in Co2 unfathomable.

Ship the same volume via rail and the difference incalculable.

Back to the drawing board Kevin! :rolls:
