    Re: ISE1606W number of rinses

The machine does 3 rinses as standard but can be programmed to carry out up to 5 rinses.

Machine powered off using the main on/off button.

Press and hold both the start and door open button.
The sequence to make this change is:

    Switch main on/off to “on”

After a few seconds the main program indicator (red ring) will flash.

Release start and door lock button.

Now three segments of the program indicator lights (around the start/stop/door) button will be lit.

Press the door lock button to make either three lights lit (three rinse option) or five lights lit (five rinse option). Once selected this becomes the new default value.

    Press start/stop to exit.

This is much too low a resistance. I would expect values in the kilohms region.

I heard from John that the 2 was going up in price but didn’t realise the dishwasher was increasing as well nor that this had already happened.
I have installed quite a few ISE2’s and as yet – not had a single service call on one.

That one looks like a good choice Mike.
I agree about RS being very good, I have used them for a few years now.

    Re: Whirlpool shame

The dead whirlpool module fault has been discussed previously in this thread.
The replacement of a 22 ohm 2 watt wirewound resistor usually fixes the problem.

not bad. 2 installed today and a 10 dryer that I will have to order. That’s about 90 now without trying (mostly customers asking for my recomendation)

    Re: Flow Meter

Hi Mark, I pull out the little pcb that houses the reed switch, de-solder the old and solder in the new. I also tin the contact strips with solder to bring them out a bit and make a tighter connection to the plug.

    Cheers,

Check for earth leakage on armature.
