    ok thanks for that. when i went to this it was running ok apart from the freezer was thick with ice jammed the fan up etc, now ive thawed it out it starts to run for 10 seconds then just stops and does nothing. it just goes into test mode ,counts down from test 9 -test 1 then just shows error 08 and wont start. any ideas ? thanks.

    Hi guys ive got one of these d/w at the mo and its not taking enough water in. It starts to fill then pumps out fills again etc etc even does it with the door open ,no problem with the anti flood though.

    Now i really am confused i could not find a sensor anywhere near the pump or i would have disconected it, care to shed any more light.

    Hi i had one of these doing the same thing and it turned out to be the timer , the drum goes into reverse then instead of going forwards it goes into reverse again causing the stats to cut out. Changing the timer fixed the problem.

    Yes ive read that but its not much help really i had a look around the pump but nothing there. So i guess the customer will have to live with it.

    I usually pack some washers on the drum shaft to push it forwards. This works for me.

    ive had this and it was the felt seal either at the back or front of the drum had come unstuck and letting steam into the room and leaving a puddle on the floor hope this helps.

    Hi dont know if this helps but did you try holding the rinse button down for a few seconds as this can reset the progam and then change the programs. :rolls:

    Sounds like the problem i had with the neff elements, the element are probably at fault to high omn rating . Have you checked the power supply to the elements?
