    Re: Miele W828

Ok, if you have shorts the inlet valve, you have probably damaged something on the board..you should have a circuit diagram tucked away in the machine somewhere, which should tell you what you may possibly have blown on the board…

As to the initial fault i can only guess at a leaky pressure hose, or faulty pressure switch..which as you know is located on the front board of the user panel..

I have a A3 size enlargement here of my own miele w829 which only differs by spin speed i think, so will check this out for you.. Is it the type with 3 inlet valves? If so would probably need to know which one you shorted out..

    Re: Miele W526

Good point! I did explain this to the customer at first, but she was adamant that it had a problem

So i have since tried it with a half load, and a full load..on the full load it does the full time initially shown.. So will put it down to customer not putting enough in..

Did megger heater etc, but found no fault whatsoever..

    Thanks for your input though..

It will do a wash, but wont spin if brushes are worn.. Get them repalced and you should be ok.

First thing to check would be the motor carbon brushes.

I have a miele w829 i use, and they dont take in a lot of water, but you can program them to take in more for either wash, or rinse.. Or both… Info in user manual here

Pretty sure the pressure switch on these is oart of thr front circuit board.
You may have a blockage in the pressure switch hose though.

Sounds like you may have not fully tightened the drum pulley up to me?

Re: W864 flashing wash light on hot washes,

Could be the heater relay, which i believe is on the right hand side as you open the front up..
